Candice Youngblood

My sister, Candice Youngblood, has been accepted into many colleges all over the country. She has been accepted by USC, Berkeley, Vassar, USF, and NYU. She has decided to go to Berkeley, because it has been ranked as the number one college in California. I hope that she does well there and that I could get a scholarship to a lot of colleges for basketball.

People fight for no reason. In order to fight I think you need a major reason to fight. Fighting should be a persons last resort. As a person I agree of the fact that people can make me angry to the extent that i just want to hit them in the face. Instead of just decking them into another race I just turn the other cheek. Anyone can punch somebody, but it takes guts to walk away from an irritating person.Now in my book if you could do that then you are a real person in my book. So be the better person and turn the other cheek.

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

So obviously my post is going to be about Nicholas Sparks' "The Lucky One." This isn't going to be a plot synopsis of thee book. My post is going to be about Zac Efron screwing up the lead role of Logan Thibault (the romantic lead role from The Lucky One). First thing, Zac Efron is 23 years old where as, Logan Thibault is in his late 20's. Zac Efron should really stick to playing Link Larkin (from 2007's Hairspray) or playing  the  Troy Bolton. He doesn't have the serious face to play Logan let alone the voice to be playing husky Logan. I advise people to read the book before they go and see it when it comes out sometime in 2012. Of course, I will go and see it but I can't say the movie is better than the book...

Celtics Sweep Knicks

On Easter Sunday the Boston Celtics played game 4 against the New York Knicks. The Celtics won and swept the Knicks in four games. To all the people who doubted the Celtics(Jacoby) what about now. They swept a team that people thought would upset them. What about the Heat did they sweep a worse team the 76rs. The Lakers are tied 2 to 2 with the Hornets, and the Spurs are down 2 to 1 to the Grizzles. The Grizzles the last team to make the playoffs in the West. If the Celtics make it past the east they have a good chance at winning the NBA championship.

Don't buy faux fur anymore if you don't already! Apparently, faux fur is actually made out of this animal called a 'raccoon dog'! Search it an you'll see that people are hunting them and killing them for their fur and passing it of as 'faux fur' and even put it as the same price. If you ♥ animals, you'll just stay away from fur, faux and real. If you don't believe me, search it and you will see I'm not lying.

Talent Show

As many of you may know, there is a talent show coming up. It's on May 12th and I'd like to know who is participating and what their talent is, so comment. I might participate in this talent show. I'm not sure if I will but if I do, then I will be playing guitar to a song I have made. All the other instruments will probably be on a C.D. with bass, drums, second guitar, and vocals on it. I will be filling in the first guitar. Both guitar parts are the same but having two gives it a fuller sound. I wish all to you who are participating, good luck.

dc universe

Dc universe is one of the best games I have ever played yet. I think I will have a lot of fun playing it. The only thing I don't like about it is that is that you have to pay monthly to play the game and besides this I love this game. 10 out 10

Have you ever went to the drag races? It's a very fun place to go to. If you do not like loud sounds, you shouldn't go. It's so loud, some wear earplugs. They have very good food there, also.

NBA Playoffs

A few days ago the NBA playoffs started. The Lakers are going for the three peat and many new hopeful teams are trying to win it all. Personally I think the Celtics are going to win again. These playoffs will be good until the end. I encourage everyone to watch a game or two, and see the Celtics win.

Question of thee day

High school is a little over 1 month away (not counting summer) and it honestly does not feel like it. Now my question for all of the readers is what are you most excited about for high school? Why or why not don't you want it to be coming as fast as it is?

Will a movie with a good plot line and a well thought out plot line and a good moral sell more or will a movie with no meaning what so ever and a bunch of sex appeal sell more? For some reason thee second option will sell more to today's communities. Why is my last statement sadly but truthfully true??????????????

Just Dance1 &2

Obviously my post is going to about Just Dance 1 & 2. I absolutely LOVE to play Just Dance 1&2. In my opinion Just Dance 2 is better then Just Dance 1 for many reasons. Just Dance 2 also does this 'duet' thing where they have two people dancing rather then just multiple people dancing to the same person. Just Dance 2 has many varieties of dance genres (duet, medley, salsa, hi-hop, etc.) and a different variety of song selection. Also, Just Dance 2 has one of my most favorite songs (from Beetle-juice), "Jump In the Line!" Though, has anyone else besides me realized how dumb you can look when you playing it and you get really, really into it? When my brother lets me play again (because it's his WII) I'll upload a video of my b.f.f. Emily and I looking like fools! :D

Speak Question #8

Well, if the inside slowly rots and then soon spreads to the outside, it will make the tree very brittle and it will soon fall. This is can be turned metaphorical too to compare Melinda’s life. Andy’s rape is like the beginning rot which soon makes the other insides slowly die inside and out, then soon enough it will all fall and can’t be saved. The only way of it being saved is by cutting the rot (Andy) at its source and then letting it re-grow. Once Melinda was raped by Andy her whole world flipped. She wasn’t the same. She soon let that one catastrophic event make her bitter inside. Once that event actually happened, she let it soon seep and ooze into her personality and work. Once it’s infected the outside, it will soon topple over. Melinda didn’t let that happen. Though, if it weren’t for her speaking up, she would have let the tree (her) break.

Speak Question #2

"What does free speech mean to you?" 

Oh boy! What does free speech mean to me? I could go on all day about this, but I only have so long until my hands cramp up. Free speech means, obviously, the right to speak your mind. The right to tell how you feel. The right to express your opinion.  Speaking your mind with no consequence. Now I have a big voice, but sadly I won’t be able to let it be heard. Though, this question makes me wonder how come we aren’t allowed to talk in class. Why do teachers limit our voice? Questions, questions, questions.

kids don't like school so teachers need to try and make it more fun so that students take more interest in school.

CONNECTICUT WINS

You might have heard The University of Connecticut beat Butler in a very low scoring game. Butler was winning by three before halftime. Then UCON took over to win it. Butler only made three 2-pointer(It might be more I'm not sure). All that matters is Notre Dame didn't win.

You need school to get into a good career. So as all teahers may tell you. so stay in school.
