A Voice

So now my title does not do justice to my message, but it is simplified into that. My post is about me. Now when I tell people that I'd love to be famous one day I'll bet the first messages that come to their head is: "She only wants to be famous, just because she wants to be liked by people," "Everyone wants to be famous and they never prevail," etc. But there are just about 2 reasons why I want to be famous. One of the reasons is because, I have desired to be a singer since I was 6. I'd be outside singing and doing little performances for my block. Though, thank god my voice doesn't suck. Another reason, is because I want a voice. Yes I have one now, but I want my voice to be heard. Now when I say voice, I don't mean like a singer; I mean like the metaphorical meaning. I would like to stand up for what I believe in and have it heard world wide. I'd like to make a difference in this world. I'd like to be the voice to abused animals/children don't have. I'd like to have people know what is going on if they already don't know and make it stop! Now hopefully people will actually comprehend my message,

Obviously I will be posting about my schools choir class. The teacher, Mr. Contreras, is really fun and all in all he is a really good teacher. And recently, he has been turning us into a show choir. A show choir is a choir that dances along with the singing they will be doing. We are in the middle of singing a Spanish song called Carnaval and it is really fun and the dance steps are fun too. If you go to my school, then go to a concert in about 3weeks. I will inform the date when I know.

Now who has seen the movie "It?" With the killer clown who eats little children. Now if you are still scared of that demon clown, just look at the photo shown above, then hopefully it should help. The guy who plays Pennywise the clown, if the one sitting on the lips.

The best ball handler in the leauge!

This is obviously the best ball handler in the whole entire NBA leauge. Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz is awesome at dribbling. He has crossed over more people than you can count!

Making a Song

I would just like to say that I am making a song. It's going to be an actual song with bass, drums, and me on the guitar. I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing with the vocals yet or who will be doing vocals but it'll come along. What I have down already is fun to play and I can tell that this song is going to be EPIC! Once it is done, I shall post it on youtube and facebook. And maybe even on this blog.

Hello America or just Upland Junior High school. Everyone knows about history. Now this is for all the people that have learned about slaves so far. If you have learned about slaves then you should know about Black history month. What is black history month? It is showing recognition to all the African-American people that were entered in history. For example Rosa Parks, Jesse Jackson, Eddie Murphy, Ice Cube, Katt Williams. All types of African Americans. So if you are like those people that showed no source of recognition to African-American people then you need to start. African-Americans even got there own television channel called BET.

Sweet Tea

Have you ever had Arizona Sweet Tea? It is one of my favorite drinks. It is a huge can. It's only one dollar. You can buy it at most places that sell beverages. You shound try the delicious drink today!

Have you ever done your homework and listened to music. Did it help you concentrate, did you get all of your homework done. If so why cant we use music in class, if everyone who had a portable music player then we should have the right to listen to music and do our work. I think that students should be able to have at least one thing that they will enjoy while in school. Everyone knows that not all students don't love school so why not give them to look forward to. Then maybe students won't mind getting work. Try and ask a teacher if they can propose this idea to the principal

Important Message!!!! DON'T BUY FUR!!! FAUX OR FAKE!!!! please

Don't buy faux fur anymore if you don't already! Apparently, faux fur is actually made out of this animal called a 'raccoon dog'! Search it an you'll see that people are hunting them and killing them for their fur and passing it of as 'faux fur' and even put it as the same price. If you ♥ animals, you'll just stay away from fur, faux and real. If you don't believe me, search it and you will see I'm not lying.

Music Making Game

There is this game that I play Called "Punk-O-Matic" 2 and it is great. You can make your own music with all of the many riffs and things to put down. You can also share your music. It is really cool. Beware of the language though...

Samantha's "Mother's Intuition"

So my sister, Samantha, has been pregnant for 7months now and I still can't believe that she's pregnant and believe it or not, but she can't either. And just today (February 17) her "mother's intuition" has kicked in. From what I have heard, today as Max, her hubby, was getting ready to leave to work, Sam had this 'feeling', and she told him and i quote "I have a bad feeling." Turns out, her mother's intuition was right. If Max didn't leave when he was going to, he would have been in the 3-car-accident. If he was in the lane he was going to be in at that exact moment, her baby might have had an injured daddy. Thank god for that baby's kickin' her into gear of being a mother.

Just a few more months and Sammie and Max will soon be parents.

Good Lucky Sammie. You'll need it from what I have with Wyatt and Landon in the time they lived with us.

Have you ever to Skate Express? I am terrible at skating. Every minute I'll be having to get back up because I lost balance or someone was skating backwards and ran right into me. My neck and back hurt for about four weeks after that. The reason I went was because my friend wanted me to go there and because my mom knew him very well. I'm not saying it is a bad place. It is a good time. I just suck at skating.

If anyone watches college basketball then you know that number 1 Ohio State lost to Wisconsin who was number 14. The final score was 71-67 Wisconsin over Ohio State. The star guard/forward for Wisconsin , Jordan Taylor scored 27 points to lead them to victory. It was a good game throughout the whole thing.

I found this blog that is all about college football. This blog tells you everything about the draft and high school recruit. I found this interesting because if I ever need to know something about college football I will look there.

RANGO

I am psyched for this movie! I have seen every Johnny Depp Movie, and on March 4th I will be honored to be adding Rango to the list. Johnny depp is a fantastic actor and as an amateur actress I ALWAYS follow his advice. he once said that you have to put a little bit of yourself into your character, or else it isn't acting, it's lying. What's interesting about this movie is that the voices of the characters actually act out each scene while they do their voices, to capture every ounce of emotion.

Miranda Cosgrove's co star from' iCarly' , Jennette McCurdy has a youtube account under " mebejennette" and in this video she is singing "Home Sweet Home" and, personally, I think that she sings better than Miranda Cosgrove.(No offense to her or anything.) Take a listen.

The Notebook

For my post I will be obviously posting about Nicholas Sparks' "The Notebook." In my opinion it is a phenomenal drama/romance. Nicholas Sparks has always been my favorite author, catching my eye with the books The Lucky One, Save Haven, The Choice, The Rescue, A Bend In the Road, The Last Song, and of course The Notebook. This movie is great for this coming Monday, February 14. For those of you who do not know what it is about, I'll tell you, and for a better description go HERE!

The Notebook starts out with this old man, Duke (James Garner), who is telling this woman, Allie Calhoun (Gena Rowlands), a story from this notebook. In the story he is telling Allie is about a young woman named, Allie Calhoun (Rachel McAdams), nevertheless, who comes from a rich powerful family. Soon enough she finds herself falling in love with, Noah (Ryan Gosling), who barely makes enough to live by. They have a summer romance but to no avail. Allie's mother doesn't want Allie to stay with Noah so she ships Allie off to New York. As Allie waits for Noah to write her (for 7 years), she is soon engaged to a wealthy man, Lon (James Marsden). As Allie plans her wedding, Noah fixes a 200year-old house to show Allie "he's doing alright"  but when Allie sees his photo in a newspaper, she can't stop loving him again. So she winds up having to choose between a wealthy man who can support her, give her a prosperous life, and her parents approve of, or a man she's madly in love with. 

Now you can fight all you want about saying "She can be provided for and she chooses the poor man and in the process she breaks the rich mans heart," but she doesn't want to be 'provided for.' Allie wants a man she can be happy with, fight with, and fall in love with every single day. Now I hope you'll read the book and/or see the movie. I promise most of you, it deserves 5stars (out of 5).

Christina Aguilera and National Anthem--a guest post

I was so inspired by Monica's little pep-talk, that I have decided to write a guest post. I did not ask for permission, but hopefully you all can forgive me for butting in--and if you can't, well, it's just one of the perks that comes with admin. rights.

And now I respectfully offer my opinion to all performers, both novice and professional,  who may happen to sing our national anthem in front of people at a live event.

Performers: Sing the song. You don't need to cut loose with all the creative vocal undulations, spinning your own style, making up words or taking them out. Your fans can go see you live. Focus on the anthem, get the words right, have a seat and get out of the spotlight for two seconds. If absolutely necessary, print out a copy of the words to the song, and tape it to your wrist for a cheat sheet.

So at my school there is this girl named Brenda Garfias and her voice is epic. Though when I tell her that, she just replies that she likes my voice more and I hate my voice and it just goes from there. So I was thinking, what if her and I sang a song together...it would be pretty epic! So we should do Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." Now I know when Tyler see's this he'll comment but, Brenda, if you read...consider it.

Earth the Movie

The earth movie or episode might be named a great dvd by some, but to a young 13 year boy in the middle of learning about this already it meens nothing. I got my hopes up for what seemed to be a blockbuster and got horribly let down by the Disney production studio. On a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give this animal planet episode a solid 1/2.
