If you have learned about slaves then you should know about Black history month. What is black history month? It is showing recognition to all the African-American people that were entered in history. For example Rosa Parks, Jesse Jackson, Eddie Murphy, Ice Cube, Katt Williams. All types of African Americans. So if you are like those people that showed no source of recognition to African-American people then you need to start. African-Americans even got there own television channel called BET.
