Answer for EnglishAnswerman: Poe
I don't really think poe was "crazy" but maybe a bit odd and twisted then others. He had problems with childhood and alcohol which would help him think of these twisted stories. But just because you can think of odd and horrid things doesn't mean you're crazy. I actually have some randomly horrid thoughts at times when I'm bored. But people have many different ways of thinking which some may consider "crazy" but at the most I think Poe was a bit sick minded. Nice work Michael. I haven't seen this film, but I am fairly sure some of the stills are used in the Prentice Hall literature book.

ReplyDeleteI agree with everything yous say except for one thing.In your post, you say that he was a bit twisted. I think that he was a sane person, with no craziness at all. He was able to live his life without problems, although he had a bad past.the drinking and writing was his therapy. in real life, he's just a regular person, with no trace of oddity in him.

I meant twisted not like he is crazy. Just his humor. Or just the way he thinks. I could say I'm twisted, too.
